Gajar ka Halwa ( Carrat Halwa/pudding)

Gajar ka Halwa ( Carrat Halwa/pudding):

Today I am preparing gajar ka halwa, it is very simple to cook so here is the recipe of it


Half Kg. Gajar (Carrot) i.e. 2 bowl grated gajar (carrot)

100 grm. Khava (mawa)

1 ½ bowl Milk (if Khava is not available then took 4 bowl milk with cream or without cream)

¾ cup sugar (if u are calorie conscious then take sugar free)

One table spoon Ghee

1 tea spoon Hari cardamoms powder

Dry Fruits: Roughly chopped almond, cashew nuts, raisins or other available dry fruits about 2/4th cup. You can choose dry fruits as per your choice and taste for garnishing.


1.Put Kadhai over gas on slow fame add one table spoon ghee.

2.Then add grated gajar (carrot) fry it for 2 min.

3.Then add Khava (mawa), milk and sugar mix it well.

4.Keep for 30 min. on slow flame.

5.Then add cardamom powder.

6.Remove the gajjar halwa from heat.

7. Garnish with dry fruits.

Now Gajar (carrot) halwa is ready to eat.

It is wow ! mouth watering really yummy………..

Serving Tip: Serve hot or at room temperature.
