Soya Chunks Pulao,Soyabean pulao,soya nuggets pulao

Soya chunks Pulav, soyabean pulao,soya nuggets pulao

1. 1/2 cup soya chunks
2. 2 cup of  basmati rice
3. 4 cloves (lavang)
4. 1/2 inch cinnamon (dalchini)
5. 4 Black pepper (Kali mirch),(Kali Miri)
6. 3-4 Bay leaf (Tejpatta)
7. 1 Black cardamom ( Kali moti elaichi),( Masala welchi)
8. One big onion chopped
9. one big tomato chopped
10. 7-8 garlic cloves ( Lasun),1 inch ginger (adrak),(aal),7-8 green chilies,
11. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds(jeera)
12.2 tablespoon ghee
13. Salt as per taste
14. 4 cup water
15. coriander for garnishing.

1. Soak the soya chunks in water for 15-20 minutes.Then cut it into small pieces.
2. Soak the basmati rice in water for 5- 10 minutes, drain and keep aside.
3.Make the fine paste of garlic,ginger,green chilies and cumin seeds(jeera).
4.Now heat the frying pan and add the ghee in it.
5. Then add cloves,bay leaves,black pepper,cinnamon,black cardamom in the ghee stir for 1 minute.
6. Add chopped onion ,when onion gets pink add tomato and fry well
7. Add green paste of ginger,garlic,green chilies and cumin seeds and mix well.
8. Now add soya chunks in it and fry for 2 minutes.
9. Add soaked basmati rice and fry for 1/2 minute, add salt as per taste.
10. Add the  4 cup warm water in it and cover the frying pan for 10 minutes.
11. Cook until the rice is done on slow flame.stir once a while.
12. Garnish with chopped coriander.

 Serve hot with Dahi (curd) raita.
